Description
Reporting
to the General Manager, this key role will drive the design, development and
implementation of the HR strategy across all divisions. Demonstrating a strong
HR generalist background, ideally in Hospitality/Retail, you will have a hands-on
pragmatic approach and be responsible for:
- Recruitment
and selection
- HR
planning & policy
- Industrial
Relations
- Staff
development
- Setting
up new employees, annual leave, sick leave, and terminations
- Fortnightly
payroll runs for a team of 150
-
Annual
reconciliation of employee Payment Summaries
-
Providing
management with fortnightly and monthly reports as required
The
Successful Applicant
A proven generalist practitioner, you
will have a track record in all aspects required coupled with experience in IR.
Equally you will be well versed in communicating and influencing at all levels
from casual staff to senior management. Integrity, commitment and enthusiasm
are required traits, as is strong commercial acumen.
Preferably, you will
have an HR degree and a minimum of 2 years experience as an HR Manager or HR
Officer, an in depth understanding of workplace agreements, and a certificate
IV in Training & Assessment which should have been done post July 2007.
